Rankins Road - Flemington to Kensington - Old Shop Fronts

Rankins Road was a major pedestrian thoroughfare between the Kensington / North Melbourne industrial area and Flemington, before the rise of the motor car. Interspersed along the road were many retail shops, spread to capture the passing trade and servicing the local community. None of these are now in use except for a block at the Kensington end which is connected to the Macaulay Road shopping strip.
