old-fashioned humidifier

I keep a pan of water on my steam heated radiator to humidify the dry air. It might work better if they actually ran the heat more than once a day. My apartment averages 68 degrees, but I'm most comfortable at 75 and above, and yet the winters before I moved here these apartments were always stiflingly hot (in a good way). It figures.
