Pennhurst State School

Now largely abandoned and notoriously haunted, the Pennhurst State School, or Pennhurst Asylum, was opened in 1908. It's history was full of atrocities against the helpless, children and those with special needs. I visited as part of the Nick Groff Tour of 2016.
