Mysore art durga on glass

This painting on glass called in for lot of effort. First I did a pencil sketch on paper. By placing the sketch below the glass, I transferred the picture with acrylic ink pen. While transferring on to the glass one must make sure not to smudge or else the entire painting gets spoiled. Then I started with stone paint. Then did the gold work {ordinary gold powder mixed with binder} carefully without letting the golden liquid getting into the stone paint. Last but not the least, I did the face with oils direct from tube. I left this for drying for nearly four to five days. Finally I filled up rest of the clear glass with a coin size sponge dipped in maroon color acrylic fabric paint { non fabric acrylics do not come out well on glass} .
