757 emergency slide

OOPS!!!!

I always thought that slides inflated from the cylinder but this only starts the process with an initial boost of compressed carbon dioxide and nitrogen. The cylinder provides only about one-third the volume needed to inflate the slides. The remaining volume is supplied by ambient air, channelled into the slides through aspirators, otherwise it would need a significantly larger cylinder.
