Roasted Chicken

It was very stormy and dark here today, and I certainly had no intention of trying to take any photos. When I took this bird out of the oven, though, I thought I heard her ask me to take her picture. :)

I did oblige her, but considering the available lighting and the fact that I really didn't have a lot of time, it may have just been a bad idea altogether.

In any case, it was delicious, and I'm excited to have discovered a wonderful family farm just a few miles outside the city that sells fresh eggs, fresh milk, pastured poultry, grass-fed beef--well, you get the idea. You'll be seeing more from there. ;)
