ATSF 5836 West at Dennison, AZ
As dawn broke on the cold and windy morning of February 8, 1997 at Dennison, AZ, at MP 299 14 miles west of Winslow on the Seligman Subdivision, it was pretty well overcast except for a slice of open sky on the eastern horizon. Just as the sun was about to peek over the horizon a westbound headlight appeared with ATSF SD45-2 5836 leading the westbound V-MCLA1-05 under the signal bridge seconds before the sun disappeared for the remainder of the day.
