47 REPUBLICAN SENATORS APPEAR TO HAVE BROKEN THE LAW IN A BIZARRE ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE OUR DULY-ELECTED PRESIDENT AND HIS ADMINISTRATION AS THEY WRAP UP SENSITIVE NEGOTIATIONS INVOLVING NUCLEAR ARMS.

One week after the Republican House hosted a head of state who used our Congress for a political stunt, against the will of our president, 47 Republican senators, including several who think they're viable candidates for the presidency, appear to have just broken the law signing a letter to Iran undermining sensitive negotiations between our two countries, telling the Iranian government they may not support any agreement President Obama's administration is working on with them.

 

Please join us in signing a PETITION TO FILE CHARGES AGAINST THESE 47 SENATORS who appear to be in violation of The Logan Act in attempting to undermine a nuclear agreement.

 

Vice President Joe Biden is quoted as saying:

 

"This letter, in the guise of a constitutional lesson, ignores two centuries of precedent and threatens to undermine the ability of any future American President, whether Democrat or Republican, to negotiate with other nations on behalf of the United States. Honorable people can disagree over policy. But this is no way to make America safer or stronger.

 

"Around the world, America's influence depends on its ability to honor its commitments. Some of these are made in international agreements approved by Congress. However, as the authors of this letter must know, the vast majority of our international commitments take effect without Congressional approval. ... They are essential tools to the conduct of our foreign policy, and they ensure the continuity that enables the United States to maintain our credibility and global leadership even as Presidents and Congresses come and go."

 

Biden went on to note that diplomatic recognition of China, the ending of the Vietnam War and the Iran hostage crisis were all ironed out without congressional approval.

 

HOW LONG WILL WE LET THESE IMBECILES AND AMATEURS TEAR DOWN OUR GOVERNMENT AND FURTHER ERODE DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL CONFIDENCE IN THE UNITED STATES?

 

Tucker believes these 47 senators should be arrested, tried and convicted for treason. It appears that these "leaders" have violated THE LOGAN ACT in their move to undermine this country's potential nuclear agreement with Iran.

 

When will this end? There is only one answer. When you stop voting Republican.
