I just learned that one of my good friends on Flickr, Madeleine, originally from Romania, and I have this in common: Zabar's in New York; that is to say we had Zabar's in common until Matt and I turned vegan (and cheap).
Over the years, this insulated bag and others like it delivered us their fantastic Matzo Ball soup and other perishable savories. We haven't been in or ordered from there in over 3 years (shipping is ridiculously expensive) but if you like a good Jewish deli and a Rugelach that will bring tears to your eyes, check it out. They're on Broadway in the upper west side and they even have a cafe (which is so-so when you consider everything else over there).
