When Christmas is over, I leave some lights in our family room, inside a decorative birdcage, to give us those glowing colors through the dark days of winter, and then we ended up leaving them there all year. In any case, that is what you are seeing behind this transparent Owl figurine.
There are a lot of decorative owls around here. My mother's sister, who lived here with my mother after my father died, brought a lot of the owls which she had collected in her various homes and condos. I added to them once I began to live in this house again.
This is just a straight shot, HDR, but not focus stacked.
