Mouse and Rose less than an inch
So, for Macro Mondays group this week the challenge was to take a photo of anything you want, as long as the photo depicted less than an inch of whatever it was.
So, since I have been thinking of my past, a lot, because I am helping a bit in organizing our upcoming 50th High School reunion, I went through the jewelry box from my teenage years, and found all sorts of goodies.
You may be amused to hear that my nickname as a teenager was "Mousie". Consequently my teenage jewelry box contains at least 10 mice, all gifts from friends or family, some which are fancy pins, or necklaces, etc. So I chose a particular tiny ceramic mouse.
When I was about 15 my father presented me with this lovely carved rose necklace. It was rare for my dad to bring home a gift for one of us kids, so I always treasured it, and wore it SO often! And there it was in the box!
So I offer you a Mouse and Rose.
Below is the ruler shot to assure the admins that the photo is tiny enough to qualify.
