Leaf 2 (Bradford Pear) IMG_7337

Here is Leaf number two from todays three photos. A very deep brown one.

I really enjoy my Bradford Pear tree, even though its wood is so weak it falls apart about once every three years. It has delightful blossoms in the spring, and its leaves last longer than any other tree I know. Even now, it still has a few colorful leaves on it, on December 3rd!

So, in celebration of the many colors of the Bradford Pear I have chosen three leaves. The leaves of the Bradford Pear are mostly bright reds and oranges, with a few butter yellows, and lots of brown splotches, even black. But this year I was attracted to the deep brown leaves, and the reds with blackish splotches. So, that is what these three photos show.
