Lesser Redpoll
Seen Lesser Redpolls for a few days running along the local brook, feeding on willowherb and goat willow buds. Not an everyday bird in my corner of MK so always a treat to see, especially perched. My first two for last Autumn were on the very early date of 11th September and they have passed through regularly since, usually as lone birds or single figure flocks flying over. In late 2019 I only had a few sightings of them here towards the end of the year.
