Bullfinch (Male)

Given their secretive nature, it was a real treat to watch and take shots of this Bullfinch feeding on blossom out in the open earlier this afternoon. He was with at least two others at the time and was happily feeding in branches not far above me. I was actually there to see if I could find any butterflies around the blossom, as it seemed warm enough. I had no luck in the end, but this definitely made the visit to this spot worth paying.
