Buff-tailed Bumblebee

Although more cold, wintry weather is said to arrive this week, today, much like Saturday felt far more like spring than winter, with the warm sunlight persuading this bumblebee and a small group of honey bees out of hibernation. I found this one basking in the late morning by Howe Park Wood.
