Lower Geyser Basin, Yellowstone 9-11

After the last photo I though a picture of the real Yellowstone would be appropriate. This spouter is in the Lower Geyser Basin near Old Faithful. These basins are so large, with so many features, that one could spend all day in one. Note the color of the crust. These colors come from, believe it or not, living organism which thrive on the hot water.
