It is hard for the sky to compete with the blue found in the deep water of Lake Tahoe. Here at Sand Harbor one can see how the color changes from a aquamarine to a cobalt blue as the depth changes.
Sand Harbor on the Nevada side is, in my view, the prettiest place on the lake, especially in the morning before the crowds show up to swim and picnic.
