Early Snow on Tuolumne Meadow Pond, Yosemite 9-15

Two of my favorite subjects in one shot: Snow and Water Reflections. This pond in Tuolumne Meadow seemed to be getting ready for Christmas with naturally flocked trees.
Note the white trees are relflected as green trees. It took me a moment to realize that this 'optical illusion' was caused by the fact that the water was'"seeing' the underside of the branches where there was no snow.
