Wildflowers below Mount Hood, OR 2013

These wildflowers were growing in the shade of some trees at the foot of Mt. Hood. The peak had lost most of its snow in September but the glaciers were presenting themselves. There are about 12 of those up on the mountain. The once which seems to 'run down' the side is called 'White River Glacier'.
