Mount Hood, Sans Snow, OR 9-13

(1 in a multiple picture album)

I felt a bit sorry for Mt. Hood this time. It was September. Last winter's snow had been lighter than usual and the summer sun had melted all the snow off of the peak. Most of the year it completly covered in snow. I thought I detected her blushing.

The good part of this situation is that you can get a good look at the dozen or so glaciers which lie on the peak. The long one bending to the left is called the "White River Glacier".
