The First Subway in Teesside
New York City subway car type R6-3 number 1144, built in 1935, being installed outside the Lord's Tavern pub in Stockton. It was converted to an American diner called "Zaks on the Tracks".
After about 8 years service, the car was donated to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre where it is used as a staff mess room.
