Kara Town on Dragon Rock
I recently found a picture in epilogue.net (1) depicting a scene that could easily fit in Dragon Rock’s Kara Town.
There were only a few things that needed to change, like the scifi-ish flying crafts and the blue sky. I erased them and took a picture from John Baxter (2), rotated it and used it as background. Even after adjusting the light of the buildings in the background and the people in the foregounnd, light is still a bit weird, but since Dragon Rock’s air envelope is not as deep as a planet’s atmosphere, I figure that light on the asteroid city might as well be different then on the ground…
(1) “The Heirloom” by Rafi Adrian Z www.epilogue.net/cgi/database/art/view.pl?id=116636
(2) “Archaic” by John Baxter (spelljammerportpaladine.isgreat.org), spelljammerportpaladine.isgreat.org/Archaic.jpg
Since I did this for private use only, I hope I don’t step on anyone’s toes for using their art.
