Melissa Ford is recognized as one of the most successful "Video Girl" in hip-hop history. However, she did not always attach herself to that title due to its negative connotations. Now the she has made herself a brand and not just some run-of-the-mill sex symbol, Mellissa doesn't have a problem with labeling herself as a " Video Girl". I guess she feels as though she has redefined it.
