YN69DVY 39409. First West of England (Lawrence Hill) 'City Lines East' Scania N280UD/City CBG at Emersons Green Sainsbury's, South Gloucestershire on 49. The 'City Lines East' route-branding seems to be disappearing into general Lawrence Hill fleet. As well as this bus today I've seen 'City Lines East' gas buses on 48, Y6 (in Chipping Sodbury), 522 (heading for bus station) & another urban-liveried Scania N250UD 2-door on 522. Yet there was a Gemini on 17 which is a 'City Lines East' route. How can schedulers justify large capacity modern double-deckers on lightly-used routes?
