new york strip, mashed potatoes and carrots

sorry that the picture is a little out of focus. i tried.

 

i took a decent steak, seasoned it with salt and pepper, grilled it and voila! i have even learned to do the diamond pattern grill marks. then, the mashed potatoes are a nice compliment. then, for a little color, i added some basic carrot chips.
