DART 7 is the Sacramento Drowning Accident Rescue Team's well-worn rescue/recovery boat. Apparently, they are looking to replace or supplement it by acquiring the Sacramento Fire Department's former Boat 8, which was mothballed along with all of SFD's other boats due to budget cuts.
