IC tower operator

I imagine the Illinois Central tower operator at Gibson City, IL was kind of like the Maytag repair man, since it was often hours between the passing of trains. At this time in April 1990 there were only 5 or 6 trains a day through town, including the IC Clinton-Gilman local each way; the NS Decatur-Chicago train each way; and the NS Decatur-Peoria train. I don't recall if the Peoria train ran daily or 3 days per week each way.
