NOU812 Bob Garrard Cargo
Boeing 747-869/CC (Crab Carier) (MSN 18515/812) Seen at ANC after arriving from a specialized cargo conversion. It is equipped with several holding tanks to transport live crabs to the Japanese markets.
Our Aquaculture Facility on Maryland's eastern shore has perfected a technique to produce in quantity ( and quality) Blue crabs in both hard and soft shell form year round.
Service will begin on April 1, 2020 from BWI-ANC-NRT twice weekly. In the meantime we are training staff and crews to handle this fragile cargo properly.
We expect an IPO shortly after proving runs validate our methods...stay tuned.
(Photo and artwork by my good friend, Kevin Fortney, who resides in ANC and will be our base manager.)
