Everard Ranges

Everard Ranges, Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjnatjara Lands, South Australia.

 

I managed to obtain some permits to travel to the APY lands to photograph a frog that is only found on two mountain ranges on the SA/NT border. The southernmost range is the Everard Range which provided a scenic backdrop for parts of the drive.

 

The fast gathering storm clouds in the west made me anxious because all the roads are dirt and I wasn't keen on being trapped out there for an indefinite period.
