Castle Bromwich Castle Hill

This is Pimple Hill viewed from Castle Bromwich graveyard. The bailey was on top of the small mound in the centre; the bailey to the right. Behind the motte is the valley of the River Tame. The Chelmsley Collector Road A452 cut across the site in the early 1970s.
