Kyle of Durness

Theres something tactile about using an old film camera that digital can't replicate.

Even though from the negative stage it becomes digital only with photoshop replacing the darkroom and enlarger, it is still a different experience with no instant feedback to how the shot went.

This is the Kyle of Durness taken during the summer of 2021.

I have been neglecting my film cameras recently and have just got around to finishing the roll and getting it processed.

This is taken with a Minolta XG1n and the standard 50mm f2 Minolta lens which I bought brand new in 1982 for the grand sum of £99.

Shot on long expired Agfacolor 200 film.

Processing and scanning by Filmdev.
