Mount Kidd Sunrise, Alberta, Canada
This image is made up of four vertical16mm shots, merged in PS. It was a very dark and cold morning, when we got to Wedge Pond. Aside from the cold, the conditions where just right, for the image I had invisioned here. Even more than expected, there was a very slow moving fog, hovering over the stillness of the pond. It made for a dream sunrise, to be photographing. It was just a matter of waiting for the light to kiss Mount Kidd. The ring that you see here, was spectacular. I hope I was able to bring you a sample of the beauty, that it was. This morning's outing, made the trip worth while, even if there wasn't much else later.
