New Ray Motorized Sherman Tank 1/35.
I was given a motorized New Ray Sherman tank a few years ago by a friend. This toy with a metal upper hull is 1/35 scale, and is essentially a copy of Tamiya's old M4A3 Sherman. New Ray later sold the model as an all plastic screw together kit, marked incorrectly as 1/32 scale. Testors later sold the kit marked correctly as 1/35 scale. The kit has many inaccuracies to include "ambidextrous bogies" with offset rollers on both sides, a non-tapered tubular 75mm gun, and an early production Sherman hull hatch in place of the bow machine gun. I decided to accurize it without going too crazy, and try out a few techniques in weathering, such as black priming for shading. I'm happy with the result.
