Vintage Academy/Tamiya M10 Tank Destroyer 1/32
I just finished this 70s vintage Academy kit. Although it was marketed as 1/35 scale, it is much closer to 1/32. I used the suspension and road wheels from a M4A3 75mm Tamiya Sherman kit. Before Academy became a force on their own in the modelling industry, they would blatantly copy Tamiya molds part by part. This kit was a direct copy of the early Tamiya M10 mold. In 2001 Academy released a very nice 1/35 M10 tooled by their own engineers. Tamiya has also released a much more accurate M10 in recent years.
