Auxilliary motor
I roughed the motor well into the poop deck for my 5 hp Nissan 4-stroke, which will serve as emergency power and/or rudder. The job required some headscratching, as the cockpit coaming makes dropping the motor in very tight.
The crowned beam in front of the poop deck represents the cockpit floor height, 8" above the level water line. The motor will sit at ankle height, so I'll carry a tiller extension.
