Screenshot 20100106

It looks hideous in the screenie, but it's not.

-The calendar and file are Rainlendar, set to normal. If I minimize all the windows, they remain on the desktop, but if I click on the corners of the screen, they'll pop over any window I'm working on.

-Tray, Virtual Desktop, and pseudo-dock are all set to be always on top, but they're transparent until mouseover. All from Emerge Desktop. Border is 5 pixels. What this means is that if I click on the top left corner, I get the tray, top border for Tasks, top right for virtual desktops, bottom right for calendar, bottom left for files, and any edge other than those areas for my menu. If I don't want any of those items, they hide from me until I summon them.

-Music player that you see is XMPlay. I got the skin off a forum post, wish it was added to the official skin base.

-System stats from TinyResMeter. It gets out of the way on mouseover, if I want to close, minimize, move, or winroll the window.

Also:

-Autohotkey for window manipulation and various wonderful things I forget aren't standard in windows

-Executor for window manipulation, sending notes to twitter (daytum, evernote - I HATE their desktop client, I use MSOneNote, but online is nice), adding notes to the note file and maintenance log, and launching of less frequent programs I didn't bother adding to a special emerge folder, and for changing desktops when I don't feel like using a mouse.

-Winroll (used on a firefox window, as demonstrated)
