Berry Bandit
Another shot of a cedar waxwing contemplating a grab at a berry. As my friend Karen R-TB (www.flickr.com/photos/22292497@N05/4051514973/) kindly pointed out in my last posting, this is not a mountain ash as I had originally thought. I was informed by a worker at the rose garden that it is a crabapple tree. I just like the light in this one and the look at the the red "waxy" looking markings on the wings, for which these birds are named.
