Giant Clones
I took this picture for you in Spain. This clump of aspens involves what looks like a few dozen individuals. Yet it is a clone of only one or two individuals. Scientists discovered one of the largest known clones in the Rocky Mountains of the USA, where a clone of aspen trees similar to this one covers many square miles.
