The transformers Legacy United Voyager Vector Prime. I was fortunate enough to be around when the original series was airing, and was able to get several of the Takara Galaxy Force toys for the series, including one Vector Prime, which had many paint apps that were absent on the Hasbro version.

The current mainline series, Legacy United, brought back the character as a retool/repaint of the Voyager Jihaxus figure, which I never got as I am not a comic fan.

I guess the best way to describe things is that if you're a fan of how regal, detailed, and big the original toy looked and was expecting more of the same here, well you're likely going to be very disappinted. This newest figure does correct some of the paint issues of the previous Hasbro versions and goes for more show accurate colours, but between the sheer reduction in size, as well as the fact you can tell this is a retooled figure as opposed to its own thing, you're probably going to be crushed. The Cyber Planet Key not only has been reduced in size immensely (along with the sword) but it remains unpainted. You also lose the Minicon that came with the OG toy. There's also loss of the electronics, but on the flip side the toy is less bulky.

Now having said all that, from an engineering perspective at least some things have been provided there.. though its been 20 years so no shock. The original figure looked and moved like a guy wearing a heavy suit of armour. The new version at leas can offer what is your typical range of motion for mainline Voyager class figures, which means you might actually be able to pose this guy.

Paint Applications and Build Quality are pretty standard for a mainline figure, so you're not going to be angry but you're not going to be blown away either. What IS surprising is the lack of paint though, even compared to the Galaxy Force version. I mentioned the Cyber Planet Chip already, but they also went cheap with the paint on the wings, which have a Brown frame in the show and is present on the Galaxy Force version.
