I'm generally OK with buying one of a set, but sometimes you gotta go for broke. Such a property would be Darkstalkers, as its' not like we see them very often anyway, but in the instance that both Morrigan AND Lilit are offered and it doesn't break the bank, I'm there to support 100% of the way.

The Pop Up Parade stuff certainly is affordable, even in the strictest sense of the word. They're a bit more expensive that Prize Figures, but you're getting a figure that shares more characters of a true scale statue. Coming in at slightly larger than 1/10, I've generally been pretty happy and would rather have these smaller sizes than larger Prize figures that are lacking much of the quality.

Morrigan and Lilith are two parts of the same soul, though IRC Morrigan is the dominant part. Have loved the character since her inception, and I've a soft spot for her brattier other half.

Both characters are sculpted in their traditional costumes in their P1 colours. For whatever reason, the face on Lilith turned out better than Morrigan, though they're both kind of off IMHO, specifically the eyes.

If you look at the photos, you'll see there's a few frills. The base isn't the greatest but at least they're better than the Prize Figure ones. More importantly, you'll notice that there's generally a more dynamic pose, actual musculature that shows up on the finished piece, some nice fine detailing such as the hair and the texture of the bat wings. There's also more paint than you would see on a Prize Figure.

That's not to say that things are all perfect, as it's not that hard to find artifacts of its lower price point. Tolerance for acceptance on QC is much more forgiving, so you end up with things like paint chips, some foreign matter in the paint and, probably most obvious, poor finishes in the form of seamlines that are kind of half ass sanded.

If I'm being completely honest, while I don't have many of them, these probably having the roughest finish of any Pop Up Parade piece I own, and those one equally have some nice curves.

I wonder if this is just luck of the draw, or are things going wonky for this batch.
