I think it was Summer 2022 when this Goku, along with a few other figures, were announced as Event Exclusives. It takes a while for the orders to be fulfilled, and so, here we are.
Officially named "Super Saiyan 2 Goku - Exclusive Edition", the best way to describe this would be if they took the Full Power Goku set, made it prettier with improved faces and hair colour, made him dead, and gave him effects parts.
So, recycling where possible, as always.
The only upgrade on the body, aside from the halo, s that now Goku's hair is given a pearl yellow finish. This certainly looks a lot nicer than the flat yellow plastic, much more premium.
From what I can tell, the expressions are basically the same as the Full Power set, except this set trades the DERP face for a smirking one. The faces have been slightly overhauled to feature more accurate eyes and possibly a better brow ridge line, kind of like what they did with Super Hero figures. As a result, Goku looks the part more that the Full Power figure.
The effects include a recycled energy aura, but now can accept energy tendril effects to better replicate his look when he powers up.. or at least whenever the animation budget allows for it.
Other than that, you know exactly what to expect from articulation, paint, and of course, build. If you have any other Goku, you pretty much know what to expect from all this.
