So for a while immediately after COVID, there was a period of time where many figures, even the might Figma, suffered from some QC issues. I believe that this would be one of them.

Presenting the Figma Lanze Reiter figure from the Falslander series, the same one that brought us Ronin that I looked at a bit earlier.

My expectations for this set were tempered by Ronin - it would really cool, with some fantastic detailing, and just wouldn't pose that well.

The good news is that the figure delivered on that. The figure does look incredibly cool. While there's not drastic "light armour mode", ou do get two distinct looks (or more) depending on how you assign the alternate legs. The body itself features some great detailing, whether it be the armour plating or the wiring sticking out of the back.

Primary weapon is a giant lance, with a dagger that used as a secondary weapon.

You also get three face plates and the ability to display the face partially, fully, or unobstructed by her visor.

Add t this that the outfit is naturally not bulky, you figure this would be a super winner, considering the pedigree and all.

Well, for whatever reason, my copy of this figure likes to explode when touched. Her hip piece socket doesn't really keep the upper body in place. The two silver pieces on her rib cage like to randomly pop off when you look at it funny. The dagger sheath likes to pop out of its socket, as does the dagger handle as well.

So basically if you look at this figure funny, it can do all sorts of weird things. Naturally, I'll be posing this figure, on a stand, somewhere tiny parts cannot go missing.
