Well, I think by this point in time it's safe to say that there's not going to be a Figuart of She Hulk. So, as the verdict is still out on how well the Hot Toy body will perform, the only other choice for figure is... Marvel Legends.

Yeah, not my regular thing for sure. But in this case it's decent, though there are some puzzling design choices.

I'm going to start with the preface that at the price point, there was no way this figure was going to look as good or pose as well as a Figuart. For what it's worth, Hasbro did a decent job. The sculpt isn't bade, and I like the musculature on the body, though she's not as bootilicious as her on screen counterpart.

The digital face painting is decent - it still doesn't look exactly like Tatiana Maslany, but at least we're moving in the direction of "it looks like a human being", which is more than I can say for some of their earlier attempts.

Accessory load is also really light, but again, price point.. price point. An angry head sculpt would have been nice, along with some extra props that She Hulk could beat the crap out of baddies with would have been nice, even if it meant bumping the price up on hat Deluxe price point.

So lets get to the things that I feel are not price point sensitive. For starters, lets talk articulation. Specifically, the lack of butterfly joints. Both the Lightning Collection and the GI Joe Collection feature female figures with much better shoulder articulation, and they're at the same price point. She Hulk only has standard rotating shoulders.

Secondly, there's the paint work. Not the quality of it, because again, price point. but rather whoever designed the figure didn't account for the fact that if you bend the legs up and the thighs contact the hip piece.... well, instant paint scratch.

Finally, there's colour. It feels like they left some yellow tint out of her general green. She Hulk looks like an avocado took a dump on her. It's not terrible, but when you place it side to side with, say, the box art. On a related note, there's a terrible colour mismatch between the green paint on her shoulder as compared to the rest of the body. You'd think they could match greens better, as it's usually yellow/pink flesh tones that get this mismatching.
