Captain Marvel is one of those MCU characters you either love or you hate, though I tend to find that the criticisms of the character are kind of.. irrelevant to the actual performance of Brie Larson or the way the character is portrayed.

However, you won't find too many people singing praises about the Hot Toys figure, regardless of whether you're talking about the Solo movie version or the one from Endgame.

About the only positive thing about the Solo movie one is that the Deluxe edition is actually pretty damn cheap these days.

If you buy either figure, it's really about appreciating the suit. Not so much what the figure can do in the suit, but literally just the suit itself, like with the various Batman figures.. though to be honest the Batman figures have more complicated wardrobe.

I have this Endgame version because a buddy was kind enough to hook me up with some Sideshow coupons, plus they're actively clearing out this figure at this time.

Effectively, the Base Solo movie figure and the Endgame are very similar. You basically trade the helmeted head for a scale mangled Stark Infinity gauntlet. Her forearms and the Gauntlet light up, if you should actually go through the trouble of putting the batteries in.

You're not getting much articulation out of the figure 0 the design of the suit basically prohibits all the but he most basic of poses.

Sculpt is competent, but anyone who says it looks like Brie Larson really needs to stare at the giant portrait on the box and then compare.
