Well, I've sat on a bunch of stuff from Anime Export, and figured it was time to bring them all home, as it were.

Of the bunch, definitely one of the figures I was most looking forward to is the Figma Rider 2.0 release.

My old one is tucked away at the moment, and a comparison photoshoot will eventually happen. Luckily I didn't buy it for hyperinflated aftermarket prices, because they weren't pretty back in the day.

I think it goes without saying that the entire set got a glow up, with vastly improved proportions, articulation, and even accessories.

It's nice that between material choices and the articulation, she can finally do her trademark slinky pose... mostly. At least, she can do it much better than the first one.

Static posed Rider Daggers allow for some more dynamic looking fight poses, though the metal ones are still around if you just want Rider to display in poses where the weight of the chain can be used to your advantage.

Colours are much darker compared to the first one, and I think this might have to do with her colour scheme being reworked to reflect the more recent Fate/Stay Night media.

Without a doubt, if you're lacking an OG Fate Rider, there's no reason to hunt down the first release.
