The main road between Whitehaven and outlying villages such as Asby, Lamplugh Rowrah and Arlecdon.
Black ice and frozen snow. 2 hours ago there were 20 cars stuck on the hill either side of the bridge. Its a nightmare on this road even after a hard frost, but after a frost and a wee bit of snow this stretch of road became impassable.
Its about time those responsible for the roads thought about putting grit bins on this stretch of road.
