As I've said before (Often, Far too often according to many.): I draw/paint purely for pleasure, not for profit nor posterity, if posterity wants pretty picturs, let 'em paint their own! (See why many say far to often? -grin-)
So, and, or, but, subsequently: In choosing the media I use I am just as willing to try the children's tools as the more expensive, fine art, media.
Hence these oil pastels by Crayola. To get a feel for them I used them exclusively at a 2 hour life drawing session last night. Subsequently I found the colors to be bright and juicy, They apply well and blend quite nicely. I tried a couple of sketches, mixed media; brushed ink & these pastels & liked the combination.
