10 November Naoshima
After making this sketch we took the ferry to Onomichi (I think, I thought, I've been corrected, it was Uno we took the ferry to.) and drove to Kurashiki and the Ohara Art Museum. Interestingly enough I found there a 1920s something painting of Seto Inland Sea that was done from Naoshima. Looking at the angles and perspectives I believe the artists had set up his easel probably less than 40 feet, less than 15 meters, from where I sketched this.
