Shot for Active Assignment Weekly, theme "Empty"

I spotted this plant in the Leiden University Botanical Garden. I no nothing about flora, so I cannot tell what it is. What I do know is that flowers are the reproductive organs of plants, and that the top one emptied it's seed into the atmosphere. In post I cropped the shot a bit, but no further actions.
