Shot for Active Assignment, theme "Captivating Perspective".

 

This is a night shot taken of the Cathedrale de Notre Dame in Strasbourg, France. I took the shot standing close to the Cathedrale, camera pointing up. In post I turned the picture 180 degrees, and in my mind it looks like the belly of a space ship from a science fiction movie. But that is probably my fantasy running wild.

 

I never bring heavy equipment on business trips. I took the shot with my 10 year old point-and-shoot. It always amazes me what nice results it produces.
